RCA Rental Rates
a) For the Theatre
1. $500 per night (one performance). $420 per night when 5 or more nights booked.
2. $170 per additional performance, same day (matinee or late night).
3. $420 per matinee or late night only (or events without box office i.e. meetings etc..).
4. $170 per dark day (one free per week).
This rate includes publicity through RCA’s website and e-newsletter, box office for advance and walk-in sales,
ushers, maintenance, dressing room, house manager/lighting operator for a 5 hour show call
(call time one hour before performance, overtime at $15.00 per hour), up to 7 working hours of set-up or
rehearsal with one technician on first day of rental only (4 hours for matinees).
Additional set-up day with one technician if you rent for 5 or more performances.
See section (c) for additional technical charges, set-up and rehearsal.
5) $3350 per week (7 days);
This rate includes publicity through RCA’s website and e-newsletter, box office for advance and walk-in sales,
ushers, maintenance, and dressing room. A technician is required at all times the renter is in the theatre –
the weekly rate includes two technicians for a maximum of 40 hours each for set-up, rehearsal and/or performance.
Overtime will be charged at the rates set out in section (c).
b) For the Gallery
i) $170 per session of 6 hours or less.
ii) $250 per session of more than 6 hours.
iii) $85 per day with rental of the theatre.
iv) $25 charge for use of LCD projector and screen.
This rate includes publicity through RCA’s website and e-newsletter, cash bar, some tables &
chairs and a 4-channel PA system with mic, stand and podium (upon request).
Other requirements may be subject to an additional charge.
Recognized arts organizations and not-for-profit organizations are entitled to a 40% discount off the above rental rates (excluding technician and LCD rates).
c) ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SERVICES NOT LISTED ABOVE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN
THE THEATRE RENTAL RATES.
A technician is required at all times the Renter is in the Theatre. (Minimum 4 hour call)
The Renter shall pay $25.00 per hour for the Technical Director and $15.00 per hour for Technical Assistants.
All rates and services of RCA are subject to the 14% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).
